I’m falling and nobody reaches out their hands,
I’m falling and everybody is blind
To anyone’s pain but their own.

I’m falling and you don’t see it,
I’m falling and you don’t hear me,
Because I’m crying out for you to be there.

I’m falling and you’re standing there,
I’m falling and you’re smiling,
But I fail to see what’s funny about it.

I’m falling and there’s a scream,
I’m falling and I realize that it’s me,
I thought it would be you, afraid for me.

I’m falling and if only someone would do something,
I’m falling and I wish it wasn’t like this,
But dreams and wishes aren’t for sale.

I’m falling and the air is cold around me,
I’m falling and I see you standing away,
Because you won’t do anything to save me.

I’m falling and nobody is helping me,
I’m falling and you just didn’t move,
Because you were too busy to care.
