Fire, Fire, Butterfly

Wings unfurl, tattered ends
Falling as the wind blew down
Sinking as a breathless cry
Wretched from the creature.

Pushing up, falling down
Twisting around, tears falling
As the creature fell, once a
Dainty butterfly.

As she fell, she dreamt of
Nothingness, drenched in her blood
As the wings folded against
Her falling body.

Tattered wings let the wind fall through,
As the hear burned the tatters
Grew larger, the orange glow flared
And engulfed the pitiful butterfly.
